I’m not sure how you found this page, but I’m glad you are here! As I start out this blog, I wanted to just let you know a little bit about me.
I’m Andrew Boardwine. Currently, I have the opportunity to lead worship at Mizpah Baptist Church with a great group of staff and friends. I am finishing up a Bachelor’s degree in communications and have felt a call into the ministry.
I believe God has called me to be a Worship Pastor and it’s amazing how that works. A Worship Pastor leads the people to the throne of grace through music, drama, and other forms of creative media while forming exhortations.
You see, one of the main reasons I am starting this website is to be able to put my two loves together: Jesus and media.
I have a passion to follow Christ and I also love being able to take on creative projects like make videos, write articles and stories, sing songs, do podcasts, perform dramas, and other things.
In this way, I get to do all the things I enjoy doing while relating them all back to Christ.
That being said, I also want you to know one other thing about me: I’m a sinner.
I was saved at the age of 7, but I am still learning and will still be learning until the day I go on to be with Him. I have been taught basically from birth stories and lessons from the bible, but I still make mistakes.
That’s what makes Jesus so amazing.
He can take someone that is flawed and use them to complete His perfect plan. I want you to think about this:
- The first two pages of the bible, God and man walked side-by-side. Man (Adam and Eve) then sinned and couldn’t be in the presence of a holy God. The rest of the bible [from Genesis to Revelation] is about reconciliation. Not man working their way back to God, but God choosing to pursue man and coming up with a plan for us to be reunited with Him, which is completed when Jesus Christ is resurrected from the dead.
All this being said, the one thing I want you to take away from this letter is that Jesus Christ loves you more than you know and died on a cross for you. He wants a relationship with you.
As for me, “I’m just a nobody who is willing to tell anybody about somebody [Jesus] who loves everybody!”
Please let me know anyway that I can pray for you and I’m looking forward to interacting with you as we continue.
